Platinum Alpacas’ goal has remained the same throughout our years of alpaca farming: To run a profitable livestock business and provide an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved - owners, helpers, customers and visitors. Our mission has been to provide high quality, healthy alpacas to customers at fair market prices. We offer a quality portfolio of colorful herd sires and female alpacas with fine pedigrees and lineage.

We recognize that new breeders need a different level of support than experienced breeders, and for that purpose we maintain a “small breeder attitude,” being hands-on in every aspect of the daily management of our herd and business.

As the largest AOBA registered alpaca farm in Culpeper, VA we have become a knowledgeable resource for agricultural tourism in the Mid-Atlantic region. By participating in seasonal festivals, farm tours, and providing customized tours for specific interest groups and school programs, we promote public awareness about the alpaca lifestyle. We enjoy raising, selling, and breeding alpacas, selling our herd’s natural alpaca fiber as well as finished alpaca clothing products and accessories.

Located in the Virginia Piedmont, known for its vineyards, horse events, Civil War battlefields and spectacular view of the Blue Ridge mountains, Platinum Alpacas is an hour from our nation’s capital, Washington DC. Our farm is located on the land called “Jackson Pines,” adjacent to the hallowed ground of the Battle of Brandy Station in Culpeper County, in central Virgina.
