Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas was founded by Dave and Laurye Feller in 1997.
Seeking to find the perfect livestock to create a profitable business and to fit their busy professional careers, Laurye and Dave discovered alpacas!

On the lush and gently rolling hills of Butler Pennsylvania you’ll find our charming 50 acre farm with over 130 huacaya alpacas of Accoyo, Peruvian and blended descent. And, this year, Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas celebrates 11 years of quality alpaca breeding and the distinction of being in the Top one per cent of the country for Breeders of Champion winning offspring!

We are well known for our superior herdsire genetics out of 21 Herdsires, such as; our 10 time Color Champion, Peruvian Zephyrus, 8 time Color Champion AML’s Principio and Color Champions; Sunset Hills Andean Gold, Sunset Hills Tempest, Sunset Hills Polaris, Sunset Hills Citation XL, Accoyo Jedi of the USA, Interceptor,Accoyo Kilyo of Star Hill, Tres Cuartes Accoyo Black Expresso, Victor’s Vaccoyo, NGG Lional and many others.
Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas has the show wins and Championships to prove their award-winning program of “Genetics of the Future!” These genetics are offered to you in the Gems and Genetics Sale and Social with great pride and customer commitment in our program.

With pristine barns and neatly kept fields and pastures Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas are given the best of care with 8 full-time staff members working seven days per week. Our staff are fully trained in the care and handling of our treasured alpaca livestock and render care under our daily supervision. Careful documentation and computerized records are maintained on each alpaca or visiting border(s).
Our barns are equipped with treatment rooms, cria creepers and 24 hour web video and monitors. We believe that our monitoring system has given us an even better capability of detecting early morning births and viewing any alpaca activity that may need to be carefully watched such as cria and Dam bonding and nursing. We and our staff perform our own ultrasounds, intravenous therapy and IgG's!
Our family and guest apartment, “The Stargazer,” located in our new barn, affords buyers old and new the opportunity of visiting, learning and relaxing with our alpacas.
We are very strong believers in “customer service” and are always available for our customers when questions or needs arise.
As far as financing is concerned, we also offer a generous financing program for new and current breeders to assist in herd growth and stable cash flow at the same time.
